Elizabeth Lape
Elizabeth Lape is the President and CEO of Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. and recently became owner of the firm. In this role, she leads an exceptional team of engineers and technicians. She looks forward to continuing to provide quality service to our clients.
Prior to purchasing Ackenheil Engineers, she worked for several years as a consultant for large accounting firms. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Robert Morris University and a Masters in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. Contact her at llape@ackenheil.com.

Burton R. Holt, P.E.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
In his over 27 years with the firm, Mr. Holt has done just about everything there is to do in the fields of geotechnical engineering, materials testing and construction inspection. Jesse T. Lape, P.E.
Project Engineer
Mr. Lape is a focused, logical, and dedicated Geotechnical Engineer. By using critical thinking with an effective geotechnical investigation, Mr. Lape contributes to a better collective project for all parties involved. (jtlape@ackenheil.com)
Kathleen Staub, E.I.T.
Staff Engineer
Kathleen has been a part of the Ackenheil Team Since 2011. Her experience in a wide range of civil projects and materials testing lends to her ability to adapt to the many situations that arise on construction projects.
David Roebuck
Chief Laboratory Technician
David Roebuck has over 22 years of geotechnical laboratory testing
experience. He serves as the Chief Laboratory Technician at Ackenheil
as well as construction inspection and test boring inspection (PennDOT certified).
Erica Gooding
Office Administrator
Erica Gooding has been with Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. since 2011. Erica's role as office administrator makes her a key point of contact with both clients and the Ackenheil Team.
