Laboratory Testing

We provide a wide range of competitively priced soil, rock, concrete/asphalt, and field/laboratory testing services. Each test is performed according to current ASTM, AASHTO, DOT or COE specifications. We are also able to perform tests according to other standards. Tests can be customized to meet specific project needs. A schedule of routine laboratory testing services is available here. Additional test methods and fees available upon request.

Our laboratory is accredited by the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AASHTO resource), which is associated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. AMRL conducts a thorough inspection of our laboratory procedures and equipment on an 18-month cycle.

We also provide a full range of field material testing including nuclear density testing of soil, asphalt and concrete testing, asphalt and concrete coring and sprayed-on fireproofing thickness, adhesion and density testing.
