Field and Laboratory Testing We provide a wide range of competitively priced soil, rock, concrete and asphalt field and laboratory testing services. Each test is performed according to current ASTM, AASHTO, DOT or COE specifications. We are also able to perform tests according to other standards. Tests can be customized to meet specific project needs. A complete schedule of laboratory testing services and fees is available upon request.
Our laboratory is accredited by the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL), which is associated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. AMRL conducts a thorough inspection of our laboratory procedures and equipment on an 18-month cycle. Ackenheil's lab is also registered with the DEP.
